What are the Residential Services?
The intent of residential services is to provide healthy and safe opportunities for individuals to live in their own home, engage in their communities and develop meaningful relationships with others with and without disabilities.
The Mandy's Farm Experience
Three Residential Houses
Mandy’s Farm currently provides Supported Living in three homes located in the Albuquerque/South Valley area. These services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days per year and are individualized to the service and support needs of the individual. Each home is leased to the individual residents and they guide and direct their services in their homes in accordance with their Individual Service Plans developed in conjunction with their Interdisciplinary Team.
What is a Developmental Disability Waiver?
The Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver program also known in New Mexico as the “traditional DD waiver” is designed to provide Services and Supports that assist eligible children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) to participate as active members of their communities. The DD Waiver is one of several waivers available in New Mexico. The program serves as an alternative to institutional care.
